Open Lecture: How to Identify Individuals at High Risk of Dementia?

The Centre for Healthy Brain Ageing (CHeBA) and Brain Sciences invite you to a presentation by Dr Blossom Stephan:

How to identify individuals at high risk of dementia?  A critical appraisal of predictive models.

 

Dr Blossom Stephan is an epidemiologist and has training in psychology and mathematical statistics.  She is the Senior Lecturer in Risk Prediction and is part of the Ageing, Health and Society Research Group at the Newcastle University Institute of Health and Society (UK) and is currently focusing on issues related to risk prediction of neurodegenerative diseases.  She is also the lead investigator for the EPIC-Norforlk Neuroimaging Pilot Study.
