Night Talk: Psychology on Ageing - 3 September - Australian Museum

Most of us want to live longer but only if we have our faculties and are in good enough health to enjoy the extra years.  Evidence is accumulating that lifestyle and health maintenance activities can reduce the risk of cognitive decline, Alzheimer's disease, other dementias and falls as well as improving mood, heart function, bones and strength.

It is never too early and never too late to start these activities.  A national campaign to enourage healthy ageing would reduce costs of care and provide a major return on investment.  This presentation from CHeBA's Co-Director, Professor Henry Brodaty, will cover the latest advancements in ageing.
