Dr Leung is a postdoctoral fellow at the Centre for Healthy Brain Ageing (CHeBA) within the School of Psychiatry, and Study Coordinator of the International Centenarian Consortium of Dementia (ICC-Dementia).

As a researcher in cognitive science, Dr Leung applies experimental methods to understand the learning of, and memory for, complex auditory phenomena, particularly in music and environmental sounds. She also conducts interdisciplinary research including the evaluation of human-machine interaction and speech intelligibility of embodied conversational agents and robots.
