Start Date: 1998

Participants: 1654 individuals aged 65+ years
Assessment Schedule: Baseline and follow-up either 5 or 7 years later
Measures: Baseline measures were (1) Demographics, lifestyle and medical history (2) CDR assessment and dementia diagnosis; (3) Cognitive assessment using the MMSE and CASI (covering 9 cognitive domains); (4) Subgroups with MRI scans. The follow-up measure was diagnosis of dementia.
