Summary

Setting: Four states in Malaysia: Johor, Perak, Selangor and Kelantan.
Start Date: 2012–3
End Date: Ongoing
Participants: 2322 individuals aged 60+ at baseline
Assessment Schedule: 18 and 36 months, 5 years
Measures: (1) Neuropsychological tests; (2) Broad range of sociodemographic, health, psychosocial and dietary measures; (3) Anthropometric and physical function and fitness; (4) Biospecimens including blood, buccal swab, hair and toenail; (5) Subsample assessed for vision and auditory function.
