STROKOG Membership Criteria

CHeBA Consortia - STROKOG
STROKOG is a consortium of longitudinal studies of cognitive disorders following stroke, TIA or small vessel disease. Developed under the auspices of VASCOG (Society for the Study of Vascular Cognitive and Behavioural Disorders), it is the first international effort to harmonise work on post-stroke dementia.

Studies are eligible to participant in STROKOG if they meet the following criteria:

  1. Prospective in recruitment and evaluation;
  2. Have a minimum of 75 participants;
  3. Include cognitive outcomes as one of the primary objectives;
  4. Are longitudinal, with a minimum of two assessments.

Studies admitting participants with a TIA or previous stroke are not excluded. Membership will be officially ratified by study leaders signing a memorandum of understanding that entails willingness to:

  1. Share data at either the level of individuals or in summary form, and/or provide the results of in-house analyses performed using STROKOG protocols; and
  2. Contribute intellectually to meet the objectives of STROKOG.

Interested parties please contact the STROKOG Coordinator, Jessica Lo, about joining STROKOG.
