"I have always been health conscious but recently my health journey has taken me to a whole new level not only with my own health but also that of my family's and my grandmother's. My grandmother is probably the most stubborn woman I know and also the strongest, thanks to her Croatian heritage. She has overcome some pretty intense health conditions and now with dementia she is still fighting strong. Seeing the condition and its effects firsthand, I am curious as to how we can help get a better understanding of it, how it can be prevented for my parents, for myself and for generations to come. When I saw the segment on The Project with PJ Lane, I had a light bulb moment. To be a CHeBA Fitness Ambassador is one way I can help educate my family, the community and promote living a healthy, balanced lifestyle."
What does "Healthy Brains. Positive Ageing" mean to me?
